Mike Colón, a photographer whose pictures you have seen many times... Mike went down to Brazil with Thirst Relief International last spring and took those amazing images you have seen on the
Thirst Relief Website. Mike is an incredible Christian guy that truly lives what he preaches always sharing his faith even in front of his professional colleagues.
It is so encouraging to me when people's faith moves them into action making a difference in this world. We all have an opportunity to do this! For my birthday, E-hop had been working on getting approval for our youth group to sit outside the Jewel on Galena and 47, and educate people about Thirst Relief and hopefully bring in some donations! She finally received approval and Saturday, November 18th we will be there during the day. There is a sign-up sheet going around where you can put your name down to commit to be there from just a 2 hour shift, to the entire day.
This is one way that we can put our faith into action! Just sacrificing some of our time supports this organization that saves people's lives on this planet, and also shares the gospel hopefully saving souls for eternity!
